Personnel Profile

The organisation has a total staff in excess of 180, with a range of skills to support the services provided. The organisation has members of the following professional institutions:

• Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
• Chartered Institute of Management Accountsnts (UK).
• Society of Certified Management Accountants.
• Association of Accounting Technicians (Sri Lanka).

Profiles of the key profesionals are given below.

Mr. Sunimal Wijeyeratne completed his articleship with the organisation and became a Chartered Accountant in 1979. He has extensive audit and tax experience having worked for Coopers and Lybrands overseas from 1981 to 1987, where he was Manager, Business Services. He returned to Sri Lanka and joined the firm as a partner in 1987. He became the Precedent Partner in 1988.

Mr. Lalindra Fernando joined the partnership in 1998 after being associated with the organisation for over 12 years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and has experience in industry, as well as auditing a wide range of organisations.

Mrs. D. N. Perera is an Associate member of the Insitute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has a B.Sc. Accountancy (Special) degree from the Sri Jayawardenapura University. She was appointed a Partner in 2002 and is responsible for tax work. She is a Director of PASS Accounting Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and PASS Staff Placements (Pvt) Ltd.

Mrs. N. S. Perera is an Associated Member of the Insitute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Appointed a Partner in 2005 is responsible for Taxation matters. She also worked at KPMG FordRhodes Thorrton and Company.

Mrs. J. T. C. Wijeyeratne is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (U. K.). She joined the organisation in June 2001. At present she is a Consultant on Taxation matters.

Mrs. Carmelita Motha is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, U.K. and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, U.K. She holds 15 years experience in Accounts and Secretarial work and is a Director of PASS and Pass Accounting Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

Mrs. Anoja Perera is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, U.K. She is the Director in charge of our Secretarial Company and holds over 20 years experience in this field. She is a Director of our Secretariad Company (PASS).

Mrs. Ramya Cooray is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, U.K. She has over 20 years experience in accounting work is a Director of PASS Accounting Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.
